Poseidon. One of the most revered gods. Brother of Zeus. God of the sea. Protector of sailors and fishermen. "Appears" holding a trident, surrounded by marine animals. It is worth mentioning the myth of the city of Athens. Kekropas was confronted with a quarrel between Poseidon and Athena. Poseidon, piercing a rock, gushes seawater and promises Kekropas that he will make the city a sea lord. Athena, respectively, piercing the rock with her spear, pulls out an olive tree. The sages of the city preferred the olive tree because they believed that it would be more useful for the city and so Athena was given the honor of being its protector and of course to take its name. The grandeur and power of Poseidon are reflected in the statues housed in many museums.
