Alexander the Great. King of Macedonia, the most important soldier of antiquity and perhaps of all time. He was such a wonderful personality that he was believed to be of divine origin. Aristotle taught him all the sciences and his father Philip II, king of Macedonia, ruled the kingdom. He started his campaign to the East, scoring victories successively against the Persians, starting from the banks of the Granicus River. Gordian, Issus of Cilicia, Phenicia, Palestine, Egypt. In Egypt he was worshiped as the "child of Zeus". It continued to Gavgamila, Babylon, Susa and Persepolis, where the end of the Persians and Darius took place. His last campaign was in India where he conquered Bactrian, securing the borders of his kingdom in Asia. Although he died young, 33 years old, the civilization of the occupied territories was preserved even after his death. The same and all the technical works that he left in his journey, creating the conditions for economic development and shaping, for the better, the life of the people. The years when Alexander the Great ruled were renamed "Alexandrina", leaving a great and multifaceted cultural and military legacy to this day.
